📝 The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join Indivd and own critical parts of our backend. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll shape core systems, make real technical decisions, and see your work in production quickly. You’ll work with a small, experienced team that values autonomy, trust, and getting things done.

🔧 What You’ll Do

-Design and build scalable backend systems that power our product
-Develop and maintain APIs and core services
-Own system performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability
-Work closely with product and engineering to turn ideas into production-ready solutions
-Take full ownership of backend decisions from design to delivery

🎯 What We’re Looking For

-7+ years of professional backend engineering experience
-Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python (preferred), Java, or Node.js
-Solid understanding of backend system design and APIs
-Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
-Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
-Fluent level of English (interviews will be held in English)
